Product Review: Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick

Do I dare say it….Holy Grail product. For someone that has to work 12 hour days, this product works wonders in my make-up repertoire.

I stumbled upon these when I started to go into make-up withdrawal and wanted to purchase some new work make up. I got an introduction kit from Sephora that included the shades: Gazpacho (Bold True Red), Beetroot (Raspberry Red), Verbena (Muted Pink-Nude), and the Lip Pencil Primer (White–goes on clear). Almost three months later of daily use and I have barely made a dent in tubes. Beetroot is by far my favourite it so vibrant and captivating. I like wearing this if I want to distract people when I have a breakout.

My work environment is very humid and dry and these lipsticks DO NOT dry my lips out. They are light feeling and leave a highly pigmented satin finish. I can wear this product without a lip liner and pigment stays. Honestly, I do find you have to reapply after 4-5 hours (maybe it’s me cause I talk for 8-10 hours a day).

If I need a drink of water I found there was little rub off. When taking this product off, it does leave residue in the crevasses of your lips.

I strongly believe everyone should have one of these in their makeup drawer.
