Honestly, after getting a deluxe sample of the Sugar Nourishing Lip Balm I can’t see myself buying the full-size version of it. For the record, I wasn’t completely dissatisfied by it but I wasn’t satisfied by it either.
The Sugar Nourishing Lip Balm by Fresh retails at Sephora for $35 CAD for 0.24 oz. I took this with me on vacation where the corner of my mouth had cracked and used this to treat it.
Pros: The product lasts a long time, a little goes a long way. I found when applied it did not fade or dissolve after an extended period of time. My boyfriend tried the product and seemed to enjoy it (probably because it smells like chocolate). It does go on clear so you can only see the shine on your lips.
Cons. The price point is ridiculous for the amount you do get. There is no applicator you have to use your fingers to apply the product.
Overall, I could not tell you if this assisted with the healing of my mouth. As far as healing goes, anything that is kept moist will heal faster with any product.
The Sugar Nourishing Lip Balm claims that it will make your lips look younger and supple or some crap like that. I’m going to go ahead and call BS on this. Anything with a glossy finish is going to look fuller and younger.
Thanks for the deluxe sample but it’s not worth the purchase. Save your money on this one!
