You have recently created a new server and are wondering how to add roles to Discordance?
Discordance servers can be a bit confusing for new users. It has too many options, permissions and settings that are confusing for you.
The disks have a total of thirteen server permissions, nine text permissions and seven language permissions. For new users adding, deleting and assigning the appropriate rights in Discordance can be a challenge.
In this article we will discuss how to add roles, assign roles to users and delete roles in Discordance.
What are the roles of division?
Roles are Discordance jargon for name recognition. Permissions in Rift are granted at the server level and on a specific channel within the server. A single user can have multiple roles that give him/her a higher level of access and privileges.
The @anything role, for example, is the standard role that grants all users a wide range of basic rights, such as sending a message or speaking on the server.
Reduced tariff authorisation
There are a total of 29 authorizations, divided into general, text and voice authorizations in Discordance.
We will look at all the rights so that you can understand them and assign them correctly.
General approvals
The general disk administrator privileges include :
- Director: This right grants the member all rights available on the server. This is the most powerful role of the server and must be assigned with great care.
- View the audit log : Allows the user to read the server audit logs.
- Management Server: Allows the user to change the name or region of the server.
- Management Functions : Allows the user to create new roles and edit roles for which the Manage Roles permission is not enabled.
- Chain management : Allows the user to create, modify and delete strings on the server.
- Kicking the members: Allows a member to dismiss members from the server.
- Prohibition on members: This allows the member to ban members from the server.
- Create an invitation: Allows the user to invite other users to the server.
- Change your nickname: This allows an authorized member to change his or her nickname.
- Alias management: allows the user to modify the aliases of other users.
- Smile management : Allows the user to manage smilies on the server.
- Management of weaving hooks : Allows the user to create and remove web hooks.
Text resolution
- Reading messages: Allows the user to read text messages in the chat.
- Sending messages : Allows the user to send text messages.
- Sending TTS messages : Allows the user to send texts in voice messages.
- Message check : Allows the user to delete or add messages from other users.
- Integrated links : Another member can make up hyperlinks in the chat.
- Confirm: Allows users to attach files in the chat.
- Read the history of the news: Allows the user to go back and access previous messages.
- Use an external smiley: Allows the user to use emoticons from another server if he/she is a member of Discord Nitro.
- Add comments: Allows the user to add emotions to the message.
- Mentions of @oeveryone, @here and all roles: Allow a member to use @oeveryone (everyone on the server) or @here (only online members in this channel). The @mention function allows a user to list someone on the server, even if he or she has disabled this role setting.
Language rights
- Login : Allows the user to connect to voice channels and listen to other users.
- Speak up: This allows the user to disable the other user’s speaking rights.
- Video: This allows the user to share videos, share the screen or stream the game on the server.
- Deaf users: Allows the user to disable the ability for another user to hear the channel.
- Moving members : This allows the user to move other users from one channel to another.
- Use the language activity : Allows the user to talk without using the talk button.
- Keynote speaker : When this paragraph speaks, the volume of other users is reduced. The priority speaker is activated by pressing the push-button to switch to talk mode.
How to discredit roles
The first step in adding roles is to create them. You can create roles such as @Guest, @Leader, and so on. You can assign different roles to a participant.
Each role has the following characteristics :
- Name
- permission series
- Membership Recruitment
It’s important: Since the creator of the server always has access to everything. There is no need to assign authorisations or roles.
How to create roles in Discordance :
Step 1: Server window open
The first step in creating a role is to login to Discordance and open the server window where you want to create the role.
The server icons are located in the upper right corner of the Discord homepage.
Step 2: Open server settings
In the Servers window, click on the name of your server in the top right corner of the page and select Server settings from the drop-down list.
Step 3: Roller selection in the right window
In the server settings, select roles in the right pane. On the right you should see the Roles section with @anyrole.
Step 4: Add roll
In the left pane, click on the plus sign (+) at the top left of the page (to the right of the roles) to add a new role.
Step 5: List of securities
Assign a name and colour to the roles that describe what they do. They add z. For example, add a guest role that can perform basic operations such as reading a message, sending a message, viewing a channel, and so on.
Step 6: Granting of authorisation
The final step is to review and assign the appropriate authorities for this role. Scroll down the page and go to the permissions you want to assign to the role.

Step 7: Saving parameters
The settings are not automatically saved in the Discordance section, so be sure to save them before closing the window. If you forget this, Discord will display a dialog box to confirm your departure without registration.
To create a new role, repeat the same process and assign different authorizations to the new roles. You can grant modest rights to beginners and assign higher (and more) roles to more experienced players.
Creating a number in Mobile Discount
You can also create roles in Discordance with your mobile phone. It’s very simple.
Step 1: Select server
Open the disagreement request. In the left pane, select the server on which you want to create the role. Click on the server name in the top left corner to display the options.
Step 2: Open server settings
Select the settings at the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Roller selection parameters
In the Server Settings window, scroll down and select the Roles section.
Step 4: Add roll
Click on the floating button at the bottom right of the page to add a new role.
Step 5: List of securities
Assign a name and color to the role in the role settings.
Step 6: Transfer of rights on rolls
Now browse the role options window and assign the permissions by checking the checkboxes next to each permission.
Step 7: Saving parameters
Don’t forget to save your settings by clicking on the small floating disk button in the lower right corner of the screen.
How to assign the roles in a Discount PC
After creating roles on the Discord server, the next step is to assign roles to users. We will explain the role assignment process in both Discord PC and Mobile.
To assign roles in Discord PC.
Step 1: Select user
In the right-hand window, select the user to whom you want to assign the role.
Step 2: Assign roles to user
Click on the plus (+) icon under Roles and assign a role from a list of roles (or search for a specific role).
You can also right-click on a user and assign him or her roles by choosing Roles > New Role.
It’s important: You can assign as many roles to the user as you like.
Role reference in mobile voice confusion
You can also assign roles via Disord Mobile. This is a simple method, and you can easily assign roles.
Step 1: Open participants under discount conditions
Open the downsizing application and the server settings. Scroll through the settings and press the SCROLL button.
Step 2: Choose a member
In the application window, select the name of the user to whom you want to assign the role.
Step 3: Roller distribution
In the next window, select the checkboxes for each role you want to assign to the user.
How to change the roles in the division
If you created the role some time ago and you want to change the authorizations now, follow these steps. Open Server Settings > Roles, as described in the section Creating Roles under Partition.
Step 1: Choose roller
Click on the role you want to change.
Step 2: Modification of parameters
Change the settings in the left pane as desired and click Save Settings.
How to manage the roles in discord
The administration of the roles is very simple. You can add, edit and delete partition roles from mobile devices and PCs.
The number of roles on your server is unlimited. You can start with just two roles, @admin and @everyone, and create more as the community grows.
A list of all users is displayed on the left side of the Discord server window. Usernames have the color of the highest role assigned to the user. Si z. B. the highest role assigned to a user is shown in red, the name of the user is shown in red. Other users can easily identify the different roles based on their username.
How to discredit the rollers
It’s very easy to remove a roll in disagreement. However, it is rare for rules to be deleted in the event of disagreement. You can simply create a new rule or change an existing one.
It’s important: In Mobile Discord, deleting a roll is a one-step process. No confirmation is required for return. If you remove the roll, there’s no turning back.
Removing roles in Discordance.
Step 1: Cord roll Open window
Go to Split > Server > Server Settings > Roles to access the role settings.
Step 2: Right-click on the rollers to remove.
The Roles are on the left side of the right window, in the Roles window. Place the cursor on the role you want to delete, click the colon button and choose Delete from the drop-down list.
