- Open GarageBand, and on the Tools screen, select Audio Recorder.

9. Tap and hold and drag the song upwards to display the track screen. Once the number is placed at the beginning of the first group, release the latch. Your song will now be imported into the edit.
10. Cut the part of the song that makes up your ringtone by adjusting the slider on each side. Drag the clipped part of the song to the beginning of the first bar.
11. If you want to mix different tracks, add and edit them.
12. When you have finished editing and are satisfied, look at the little arrow in the left corner of the screen. And select My Songs from the drop-down menu. Your personalized song is now automatically saved in your GarageBand library.
