Motorcycles are toys for big boys.
But that would be an understatement if you know someone who owns an engine, you know it’s more valuable to him than just a toy. Some people don’t even trust others to ride or touch their bikes.
For reasons of demonstration or the desire to possess rarities, very expensive things have always been a great desire for a person, because these things are usually considered a sign of success.
Bicycles, however, are not necessarily nailed like expensive stuff and it is above all the best sports cars in the world that are in the lead.
However, some motorcycles are an exception because they cost much more than normal.
On this list we have some unusual machines that you have already installed.
These are the 10 most expensive engines in the world in 2020:
10. Scottish founder Issue Ti XX – $300,000
The team of cycling professionals spent more than 1280 hours producing a special model of a bare aluminum chassis from the edition of the founder, the Scottish Fe Ti XX titanium series.
It is then painted by hand with a majestic and subtle sheen.
This fully customized model requires up to 3000 hours of expert work.
Supercharged, air-cooled engine with exceptional 225 hp and 210 lb Nm of torque, TTX fork with titanium front axle and carbon-ceramic brakes for track use.
Few motorcycle manufacturers have produced this kind of rare and advanced technology for a lifetime, but in the last decade they have. Scotland has strengthened its reputation as a skilled hooligan by adapting carbon fibre gas tanks, expensive titanium chassis larger than those of Harleys, and otherwise to SRI, Öhlins and BST. Only a few motorcycles are ridden in Scotland.
9. Legendary British Vintage Black – $400,000
The legendary Black Vintage is an example of the unique art of British engineering, and no motorcycle in the world can come close.
This bike may not be the fastest, but it can easily accelerate in seconds.
The legendary British black classic appeared on the market in 1948 and was faster than the Jaguar XK120 sports car.
8. Superbike Dodge Tomahawk V10 Superbike – $550,000
In 2003 the Dodge Tomahawk V10 Superbike, a legal concept of an off-road vehicle, was introduced at the North American International Auto Show.
Later it was produced and sold in very small quantities.
This engine is carefully built, it looks more like a car than a motorcycle, but you could say that it is a hybrid, which is divided by a percentage.
At first sight, the V10 superbike is very difficult to describe as a car or a motorcycle.
The motor has a speed advantage because it has more power than other competing motors.
The Tomahawk has two wheels, front and rear, which can fly independently in curves.
7. Harley-Davidson Spaceship – $1.5 million
Artist Jack Armstrong Harley Davidson’s spaceship was built by Harley Davidson on the 21st. October 2010 in Marina Del Rey, California.
As if it were a Harley-Davidson VRSC or a V-Rod on wheels, the unique style of the artist’s painting, called Cosmic Externality, represents his iconic artistic combination of extreme colours and textures.
6. Harley-Davidson Bucherer Blue Edition – $1.79 million
In the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition a unique model is produced in collaboration with Bündnerbike, including jewellery from respected citizens and jewellers.
The Swiss watch and jewelry company Bucherer has established itself as an authority by making the Harley-Davidson Blue the most expensive Harley-Davidson edition ever sold in the world.
This blue edition is based on the Harley-Davidson Softail Slim S, but has been completely revised for 1.8 million Swiss francs, or approximately 1.79 million dollars.
Why is this Harley so expensive?
The bike frame is seamlessly welded and can even make rims to your specifications.
The rotating camshaft, the timing and the gold-plated butterfly valves are excellent design features that can be seen through a window in the camshaft housing.
Resistant to modern temperature influences, the LED backlighting system is the world’s first motorcycle to be backlit from the inside out.
In addition, the parts of the engine are gold plated to further accentuate the luxurious styling.
Thanks to the iridescent color, the bike has a unique detail.
A special technique is used to obtain a rich shade of blue because it is first coated with silver and then, according to the secret method, with six-colour coatings.
Under the glass dome of the retractable safe is a six-pointed Heaven-solo ring with 5.40 carat diamonds.
5. Yamaha BMS Helicopter – $3 million
Japanese motorcycle and naval product manufacturer Yamaha owns one of the most expensive and stylish motorcycles, the Yamaha Road Star BMS Chopper, as a luxury item.
BMS Nehmesis won the famous Rat’s Hole Custom Show in Daytona, the first BMS helicopter in the custom engine industry.
It is equipped with a large 360 mm diameter rear rail, an automatic clutch and intelligent electronic couplers.
The BMS is also equipped with gold-plated parts, making it a high-end bike.
The Road Star BMS helicopter is equipped with a 102 cubic inch fork. The ground is very long. It is air-cooled to remove heat and has a long stroke.
The powerful 48° twin-engine BMS Chopper offers the best cross performance.
4. Hildebrand & Wolfmuller – $3.5 million
Hildebrand and Wolf Müller are the first production engines in the world.
This historic bike is the first bike in the world. Buyers thus acquire both this unique bicycle and a historical relic for their collection.
This motorcycle is fully functional and has a two-cylinder four-stroke engine.
The company Hildebrand & Wolfmüller, which is made in Germany, is of great historical importance, because it was the first company to use motorised two-wheelers and the first car to use the term engine.
3. ECU ES1 Spirit – 3,6 million
The Scottish ES1 Superbike is a monstrous machine that can reach a top speed of 250 km/h and has a modern modified carbon fibre bodywork.
According to the manufacturers, these non-standard motorcycles are fully developed and the F1 specification is available at least one year before the production model.
The motorcycle is equipped with ergonomic equipment, advanced composite construction, desired engine performance parameters and an electronic control system, allowing the F1 to be played on two wheels.
Contrary to what the manufacturer claims, the Scottish engine is not powerful compared to other fast engines.
The speed is due to the air resistance coefficient of 0.4, which is not as good as a sports car, but 40 percent better than a normal superbike!
This shows that the CoA (Full Drag and Drop) is reduced by 50% and the top speed is increased by 26%!
2. 1949 E90 AJS Porcupine – $7 million
The AJS Porcupine 500cc is a British racing engine built in 1945 with the horizontal E90S engine and produced by Associated Motor Cycles (AMC).
This bike is extremely rare and has a fantastic racing history. But it’s worth $7 million.
A company that produces a motorcycle is in financial difficulties due to its low specific gravity and high price. There are only four such units in the world.
The AJS Porcupine 1949 E90 porcupine is elegant and innovative and should meet both expectations and costs.
It is rare to see the exceptional position of the porcupine E95, let alone the private owner on a motorcycle.
1. Chasseur Neumann Marcus Limited – $11 million
Neumann Marcus is best known for his shops and can hardly be mentioned as the name given to motorcycles.
Surprisingly, however, they produce the limited edition Fighter, the most expensive motorcycle ever sold in the world.
The bike was auctioned for $11 million, which some say is unique because it resembles the inside of a watch.
In this limited edition only 45 fighter planes are produced.
Like the Wraith, the Confederate fighter uses a titanium, aluminium and carbon front suspension and a 120cc air-cooled V-twin engine with an angle of 45°.
The bodywork consists of a titanium and aluminium base connected to the front and rear ribs, which are cut from solid aluminium parts and replaced by a Wraith carbon fibre chassis.
This lightweight frame combined with a moderately powerful engine allows the bike to reach a speed of 190 km/h.
